Respectful Engagement
Vodcasting is an open and productive site of conversation. In this, we promote openness in issue discussion about the lines of disagreement. To build this community where everybody belongs, we will expect members to treat each other respectfully and warmly.
- No harassment/Bullying: Any form of harassment or bullying that takes the shape of personal attacks like foul language, threats, or insults to others is not allowed.
- Respecting Divergent View: Everyone has the right to an opinion. However, this is okay to have a disagreement with each other in the most respectful manner, and also appropriately and politely.
- No discrimination: we do not endorse any discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any form of discrimination.
Relevant Content
Feel free to post as many articles about podcasts as you want to do, but it is up to the relevant content concerning what applies to our website and toward the values of Vodcasting.
- No posting or transmitting of offensive, hate-related, obscene, and or grossly inappropriate things: That means no postings that depict or otherwise describe violent sexual activities or that are otherwise generally offensively harmful.
- Stay on Topic: Please keep your posts and comments on topic. Postings that do not add up to a good conversation probably will be removed.
- No Spamming or Self-Promotion: We trust that discussions flow naturally. Also, not so much spam or self-promotion. You should not have Vodcasting for promoting your products, services, or other unrelated websites.
- Copyrighted Material: Respect others’ intellectual property. Do not distribute (music, podcasts, videos, etc.) you do not own.
Clean and Safe Environment
We are committed to all space owned by our users being safe and secure. You are also because you are a member of the Vodcasting community.
- No Spam or Misinformation: Do not upload, post, share, or send false, misleading, or deceptive content.
- Respect Private Information: You shall not post any private address, phone number, financial information, or other private information about you or others.
- Notification of violation of these Terms of Use: If you wish to report that some of our user-generated content violates these terms or policies, please submit a notification. We will review your report and determine appropriate action.
User Generated Content
We respect all efforts of the users and would encourage people to put forth their thoughts, opinions, or creations so they could be presented before the community. However, about Vodcasting posts, you obtain a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display your posts on this website.
- Ownership: Any such content that you may create and would want to post on Vodcasting would be owned by you but you would be solely responsible for ascertaining that you have all rights so granted.
- No Plagiarism: All the content shall be original or duly referenced. If there is plagiarism, it would attract deletion of such content or suspension of an account.
Moderation and Enforcement
These are the rules governing our community, and we do hereby reserve unto ourselves the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines or prevents the positive environment of Vodcasting. Depending on the gravity of the offense, we might give a warning, put on suspension, or permanently ban a user.
- Deletion of Content: We may remove or edit any form of user-generated content violating these rules.
- Account Suspension: Our account may be suspended due to many repeated abuses. The time limit for such suspension may be short-term or permanent.
- Appeals: You can contact us in case your content is removed or your account is suspended on grounds that don’t stand.
Modifications to the Principles
We may change and update these Community Guidelines from time to time, in our sole discretion, with or without notice, effective upon posting.
